HEROLDIAN ART X CROMA
Katharina Herold, the creative mind behind the family gallery Heroldian Art Concepts, has created in collaboration with Croma Natural Paint an exclusive line of colors. Born into a family passionate and dedicated to art, she has used these colors to paint the different rooms of her wonderful house, Heroldian Townhouse in Mallorca, where she has founded an artists’ residence.
Our HEROLDIAN ART X CROMA natural pigment wallpaint collection takes its main inspiration from Italian Renaissance frescoe painters. As an art historian Katharina, the founder of Heroldian Art, has always looked to art as inspiration.
The renaissance and especially the artists associated with rebirthing classical culture are known to this day to have triumphed in the use and imagination of colours. Each of our wall colours has a direct reference to a famous painter of the time. The tones were found in some of the artist‘s most famous frescoes which can still be marveled at throughout Italy today.

The collection consists of eight unique colours, inspired by the rich palette of the Italian primitives. Each colour pays homage to a master of this movement, bearing his or her name.
Michelangelo Ivory
